San Diego Health Care Champion Awards
San Diego, CA - With more than 500 finalists and their guests in attendance, the San Diego Business Journal’s Health Care Champions event proved once again to be one of the premier recognition events for the health care community throughout San Diego County.
With representatives from every community in health care—first responders, nurses and doctors, hospital administrators and various technical specialties including representatives from local military health care organizations—the event brought together a group of dedicated health care professionals as accomplished as it was diverse. “Alvarado Hospital is proud of our nine 2009 San Diego Health Care Champion Finalists for their spirit of innovation and dedication to patient care—helping to ensure that our hospital provides advanced medicine and personalized care to San Diegans and beyond,” said Harris Koenig, CEO of Alvarado Hospital. “We join the San Diego Business Journal in recognizing the significant impact these individuals have made on health care in our community.”
